The Believer Book Award

 

Each year, the editors of The Believer  award the works of fiction, nonfiction, graphic narrative, and poetry that they find to be the best written and most underappreciated. Information on how to submit to the 2021 Believer Book Awards can be found at the bottom of this page.

Submission guidelines:

Books for the 2021 Believer Book Awards must have been published between January 1, 2021 and December 31, 2021. The deadline for submissions is August 1, 2021. Bound galleys and bound manuscripts are acceptable if a book has not yet been published by this date. There are no submission fees and small presses are strongly encouraged to submit. Self-published work is not eligible.
