Rosa Colón Guerra has been self-publishing comics for over ten years with her friend Carla Rodríguez, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, as Soda Pop Comics. She is a sequential artist with a master’s degree in sequential art and design from the University of Brighton and a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras. Sometimes, she is a writer. Recently, she’s been published in The Nib, The Lily, Splinter, and the Eisner Award–winning Puerto Rico Strong: A Comics Anthology Supporting Puerto Rico Disaster Relief and Recovery from Lion Forge.
