Megan McDowell

Megan McDowell has translated many contemporary authors from Latin America, including Alejandro Zambra, Samanta Schweblin, and Mariana Enríquez. Her story translations have been published in The New Yorker, The Atlantic, Tin House, The Paris Review, Harper’s, and Vice, among other publications. Her translations have won the English PEN award and the Valle-Inclan, and been shortlisted (2017) and longlisted (2019) for the Man Booker International prize. She is from Kentucky and lives in Santiago, Chile.
