Debra has been a conservator of prints, drawings, photographs, and books at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco since 1983. Prior to that she worked at the Bishop Museum in Honolulu. She received her M.S. from the Winterthur/University of Delaware art conservation program. Over the years Debra has been privileged to supervise numerous conservation program interns and fellows, and has appreciated the new information they continually bring to the paper lab. She is the co-instructor of “Mastering Inpainting” workshops and is the recipient of the AIC’s Sheldon and Caroline Keck Award in recognition of her work in the training of conservators.
