Dan Beachy-Quick is a poet, essayist, and translator. He is the author of a collection of poems, Arrows (Tupelo Press), and a collection of lyric poems translated from the Ancient Greek, Stone-Garland: Six Poets from the Greek Lyric Tradition (Milkweed Editions). His work has been supported by the Monfort Family Foundation, the Lannan Foundation, and the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation. He teaches at Colorado State University, where he is a University Distinguished Teaching Scholar.
