Christian Hawkey is the author of two collections of poetry: The Book of Funnels and Citizen Of. A third book, Ventrakl, is forthcoming from Ugly Duckling Presse. He received a 2006 Creative Capital Innovative Literature Award and a 2008 DAAD Artist-in-Berlin Fellowship. He is currently an associate professor at Pratt Institute.
